Leaky feeder coaxial cable is designed to allow the controlled release of radio frequency (RF) signals along its length. This characteristic makes it ideal for providing consistent wireless communication in confined areas such as tunnels, mines, and large buildings where conventional antennas MAY NOT BE SUITABLE. The cable consists of an inner conductor, dielectric insulator, and our conductor with periodic slots, perforations or structured braid profile, covered by an outer insulating jacket. These intentional gaps in the outer conductor enable the cable to "leak" RF signals, ensuring even signal strenth distribution. Leaky feeder systems typically include amplifiers and repeaters to maintain signal quality over long distances.
